Terms and Conditions for Maldives Authentic Crafts Cooperative Society
Introduction
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Maldives Authentic Crafts Cooperative Society (MACCS) Home Based Workers Platform (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
Eligibility
The Platform is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into and abide by these Terms.
User Accounts
To use certain features of the Platform, you must create your profile. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering your profile and listings.and to promptly inform MACCS update your account information if it changes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
Product Listings
Users of the Platform may list their products for sale. You represent and warrant that you have the right to sell the products you list on the Platform and that the information you provide about your products is accurate and complete. You agree to promptly update your product listings if any information changes. MACCS reserves the right to remove any product listing for any reason.
Third-Party Services
The Platform may include links to third-party services, such as payment processing and shipping services. Your use of these services is subject to the terms and conditions of those services. MACCS is not responsible for the performance of these services or for any errors or issues that may arise in connection with your use of them.
Intellectual Property
The content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MACCS or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit any of the content on the Platform for commercial purposes without the express written consent of MACCS.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MACCS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MACCS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL MACCS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Changes to Terms
MACCS may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the revised Terms have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
