Mausooma, Adh. Omadhoo (Fangi viyun- Thatching)

Mausooma takes her interests in many activities, from fishing and masonry to making famous local snacks and many more, the highlight of her work is on thatching, fangi vinun.  

In thatching, dried coconut palm fonds and coir ropes are used. Usually, she travels to Mandhoo to pick up the palm leaf/fond for free and returns to her home island and dries it. 
Mausooma also works as an agent by taking the initiative in marketing fangi bondi to the community. She sells it to the nearby islands and mainly to the resorts.
